The trusted sales copywriter of best-selling authors, entrepreneurs, and online businesses…
There is (limited) space for new projects, but if I believe I can help, and you feel it’s a good fit, we’ll make it work
As someone who makes a living copywriting – for myself and others – I am used to doing this work by myself. Except, well, have you ever had that thing where a project is really important to you, but you’re too close to it to know what’s best to write? That’s exactly what happened when it came time to write my back of book jacket blurb, I found myself unusually tied in knots, and realized outside help was needed. That’s when I asked Amy to help out. I was a little unsure at first – how could someone else understand my work and also write in my style? And how for such an important project? But the moment she send the first draft back it was like a weight was lifted. Amy had cleaned up the parts I’d been agonising over for days, and what’s more it was in my voice: she managed to make this sound exactly like me (within a tight word limit too!) which is incredible. Working together with Amy produced a back of book jacket blurb I am very happy with (and my publisher was too!) and is selling well on the shelves in bookstores today. I recommend her highly! – Marianne Cantwell #1 Best-selling author of “How to Be a Free Range Human”
A copywriter focused on 2 things:
Sales… and making your audience love you
(No wordy, flowery creative-writing indulgence found here…)
Copywriting is about getting your reader to take action. Whether it’s to sign up to a newsletter, give you a ring or buy your latest product.
There are specific tools and techniques used in copywriting to achieve this. In fact, every word in every sentence has a set function. If it doesn’t, a good copywriter throws it out the window. (See what I did there? Just trimming the excess 🙂 )
I studied as a screenwriter which applies the same principle: use only the words you need to get someone to turn the page. That’s the ethos I use for my sales copywriting…
Sales copywriting: using the minimum words you need to inspire the action you want
That, along with my ability to capture a brand or person’s voice is why my clients choose me.
“The sales page is a masterpiece.”
In preparation for a VIP live event, I needed to create a first class sales page. This really scared me and sent me into a tailspin. Amy was highly recommended to me by my business coach and mentor. The copy was amazing. Actually, I had no idea what to expect but, wow, what I received was way above and beyond. I believe this happened because Amy took the time to get to know me and exactly what I was striving to accomplish. It was all about my message, what my clients needed and in my voice and style. The final sales page is like a masterpiece. Thank you Amy, you are a treasure. – Elaine Gibson – www.renewedlivinginc.com
What industries do I write for?
I’m not a generalist copywriter and have built my experience writing for a number of niches.
If your industry is listed below that’s a good sign. It means I’m probably already familiar with your target market, their motivations, their desires and fears. It also means I understand the language of your industry and know which tone of voice and writing style is most suitable.
- Business coaching and communication – Do you coach business owners or corporate executives? If so I’ve written for many people within this field.
- Sales and marketing tools and services – Do you offer sales and marketing services? Do you teach business owners how to market their businesses or provide them with this service? I’m very familiar with this style.
- CRM and ERP software solutions for a variety of industries – I have written marketing collateral to sell CRM and ERP software to medical, retail, manufacturing and even military organisations.
- Nutrition and fitness – I have worked with personal trainers, nutritionists and holistic health providers.

My Site Setup Kit co-creator Wendy Cholbi and I had a sales page we felt was underperforming. We had written it ourselves. Our basic information was decent, and we thought there were aspects of it worth saving. But we weren’t sure what should stay and what should go. We knew we needed to call in an expert. We spoke to Amy Harrison about re-writing the page. She listened, asked great questions, and made solid suggestions before she even took on the project. Once she got started, her first draft, revisions and final copy came in when promised. We loved what she’d done with the tone and pacing of the copy of the page. But would it convert? We were able to give it a good test during our next sale, which happened shortly after the new page went live. It brought in dozens of new customers! We were very pleased with Amy’s whole process. She’s a delight to work with: she asks great questions, listens closely, and responds with copy that exceeds your expectations. I highly recommend her. Pamela Wilson, Site Setup Kit
What makes me unique? The combination of screenwriting and business experience
For 3 years I trained full-time at a top ambien media school in the science of story-telling for film and television. I absorbed the hero’s journey, story arcs, and character development until exhausted I rolled out of the other side knowing how to write a compelling narrative.
But I was disillusioned with the industry and didn’t want to be in a writer’s bubble with no life experience to draw on.
So I moved into ‘business story-telling.’
For 4 years I worked for a group of private investors who bought and sold online businesses. They would buy a businesses, and I would package it into something sexy: new website, content, advertising and investor presentations. The largest investment we secured in that heady time was $50 million.
Since 2008 I have been running my own business offering these story-telling (aka copywriting) services for small and large organisations around the world.
And that’s exactly how I began writing for top business owners just like you.
“She nailed it”
I know a reasonable amount about using language to influence, but I don’t do it for a living. I feel sure I could have put up some ok copy, but ok isn’t good enough when one word can make the difference between somebody signing up for my course and moving on to the next website. I have known Amy online for quite a while and I know she knows what she’s talking about, studies her craft and delivers great value. Working with her was a breeze. Deadlines hit, changes made in a timely manner and I was blown away by her attention to detail and the questions she asked me so she knew exactly what was needed. I’m always apprehensive when somebody sends me something for approval such as design or copy as there’s that nagging doubt that I may not like it. When I read the copy Amy sent me a huge smile came on my face because I knew it was exponentially better than what I had up there at that time. Sign ups for the new course has proven my initial thoughts that she nailed it.

One thing I’ll say is that I’m not cheap. Sales pages start at £2,000, other copy projects start at £850.
But my clients like that.
They really don’t want cheap.
They want great copy.
Copy that sells their offer. Copy that ‘sounds’ like them and their brand. Copy that pulls the reader in, gives them the details they need and then persuades them to take action.
Which is what I do.
When do you need your copy?
Have a think about when you’re going to need your copy as most projects take 3-4 weeks to deliver (please see waitlist details at the top of this page). This gives me time to research your business, study your materials, conduct the necessary interviews and then write copy.
Need something sooner? I do hold some space in the schedule for expedited copy. It’s an additional cost but if you have a deadline looming, it’s worth it.

Amy rewrote two of my salespages. She turned my writing into sharp, crystal clear copy that now converts at least 10-20% better. And the best part is that she only rewrote the beginning of my salespages. Who knows how much better they would convert if she worked with me on all of my marketing materials? Henri Junttila – Wake Up Cloud, successful poker player turned full-time blogger
When I received the copy from her I was amazed by what she had written. Although all of the facts were correct it sounded so professional that I had to remind myself that it was my company I was reading about and not some long established agency. Very few teaks were needed – she’d got it pretty much right first time. I couldn’t wait to get it on the website! – Martin Rowsell, CEO Simply Marvellous, award-winning design agency
I’ve been using Amy for some of my copy… she really gets my voice, she really seems to understand my audience, her turnaround is fabulous, her customer service is great… I’m super happy with her. Go work with harrisonamy.com! – Carrie Wilkerson, 7-figure Internet entrepreneur
I really did enjoy working with Amy due to her “can-do” attitude. Amy wasn’t phased by the magnitude of the task at hand, not matter how big the initial undertaking seemed, she broke it down into smaller components and just got on with it. Amy rolled up her sleeves and got her hands dirty, from the word go she got stuck into exactly how we do things and put herself in the shoes of our staff and as a result came up with a tailored training programme that suits our specific needs. I would recommend working with Amy to anyone who is looking for tailored training on copywriting. – Johanna Dzartah, Global Marketing Trainer for international conference company IQPC
