Hello and happy Monday to you!
This is just a quick blog post today, there will be more meaty copywriting posts later this week.
If you’re signed up to Fast Copy Fridays, you’ll know that things have been a little crazy round here recently including house-sitting, and then waking up one morning to a bathroom filled with wasps…
As I mentioned last time, I’ve submitted a proposal to talk next year at SxSW. (Thanks for all your votes and comments so far – voting ends Friday I think!) The talk is all about how female bloggers can sell from with heart, rather than hype, and as much as I think women have a harder time promoting themselves, I also know a few guys who struggle with this as well.
So I’ve decided to do one of my free, last minute webinars titled:
Bloggers: Copy That Sells With Heart, Not Hype
So that everyone can join in with the party, I’m definitely a “more the merrier” kind of gal.
The webinar will be: Wednsday 31st August 2011, 12-1pm PDT (2-3pm CST and 8-9pm GMT)
What will I cover, well if you have any specific questions about how you can write copy that sells without upsetting your blog audience, bring them along, otherwise we’ll be looking at:
- Why bloggers struggle to make the transition to “selling”
- Sales copy techniques you WON’T want to use on your blog
- How to banish your fear of being “over-promotional”
- How to prepare your community for an offer
- Specific phrases and copywriting techniques that don’t sound like “sales speak”
I haven’t done a webinar with you guys for a while and I really miss you!
This is pure content too. I won’t be making an offer on this call (although for those of you who like my special offers, keep your eyes peeled, something juicy and different is coming up soon…)
All you need to do to attend on Wednesday is to pop your name and email below and I’ll send you all the details you need to access the call. It’s going to be fun, and I’ll be doing it from the new flat which is exciting! Well, exciting for me, but even though you can’t see it, I’ll describe its newness to you and you can share the jubilations. 🙂
See you then my lovely,
