Okay, this is just a quick round up of the latest going ons as part of talking at SXSW on the subject of women using humour in business. Over the last year I’ve been using comedy videos to market my content training business and over the year I’ve found:
- Web traffic up 51%
- Newsletter subscribers up 75%
- Increased social media shares and engagement
- Attention from industry influencers such as Chris Brogan and Brian Clark
More importantly though I noticed clients who had watched the videos were pre-sold on working with me, making conversions and sales conversations easier.
So I flew out to Austin to deliver a short talk on the subject:
