Well, we’re coming to the end of this Article Series: Goals… (Goals)! Always Believe In Your Soul… series, and it’s made me think a lot about what I want to achieve in what is left of the year.
I am excited and scared about the year ahead, I’ve got lots of plans and am itching to get going and make this a great year. I hope you’re feeling the same.
In the fever of working towards your goals however, sometimes it’s easy to get caught up in where you’re going until you forget where you are.
This is just a short post to help you remember that having an end goal is great, but it’s not about reaching that point, it’s the journey you take on the way there.
On the way to achieving your dreams:
- Make time for the people you care about
- Take time out to enjoy yourself and relax once in a while
- Appreciate how good this very moment in time is
Most of all, look after yourself, work hard at the things you love and keep believing.

In Don Quixote, there’s a part where he says, and I’m paraphrasing, “Sancho, it’s not the Inn that counts, but the road to the Inn.”
Great post, well said my friend.
Hi Josh,
Thanks for stopping by. Couldn’t agree more. Sometimes it’s hard to stop looking so far forward and take a long look around us and enjoy the journey.
There shouldn’t be such a rush to get to the end of it either
