Writing web content can be a real pain.
Recently I was looking through content marketing materials I’d uncovered from a content audit. I found a recent presentation from some corporate training I’d delivered on web content. Click below to view the presentation:
I gave the presentation a virtual dusting off, kept the structure and updated the content so that it applies to small business marketing.
In the presentation you get a very simple 10 part structure for writing web content.
You can use it for writing web content that makes an offer (this example does) or that lets your readers know about an upcoming event, or service. You also get to see an example worked through each stage, with the final page content put together at the end.
What do you think? Did this make it easier to understand web content structure? Is there anything else you would like to have seen? Let me know in the comments below!

This is a great content/concept that one can actually use in ones work. Also, this presentation nicely demonstrates your comprehension of a writing challenge (among other things) that your audience members might struggle at this very moment.
Is there really any other sustainable way of building credibility – but to show acumen in a task that resonates with the audience? I don’t think so! Just Great Stuff!
